Breaking News: MRI Results for Eagles Tackle Lane Johnson's Ankle Injury
Substantial Lateral Sprain Diagnosed
Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson sustained a lateral ankle sprain, according to NFL sources. The diagnosis came following an MRI performed on Johnson's injured right ankle.
The Pro Bowl tackle has been sidelined since Week 16 due to a previous abdominal injury. Johnson initially suffered a groin injury in last year's playoffs, which flared up during the Eagles' recent matchup with the Buffalo Bills. Subsequently, he was unable to play in the team's subsequent loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
